Purpose and scope:

Drilling complex KB-76 is designed for drilling high-precision rectilinear deep wells on rocks of various strength and abrasiveness.

* The drilling complex can be effectively used for:

geological exploration with continuous core selection;

• for degassing and drainage drilling from underground workings;

• for laying communication and technical wells in urban conditions:

• for rescue operations in the area of the blockage, etc.

Brief description and design features

The drilling rig consists of an oil pump station with a control panel, an installation device, a drilling machine with a dual split-drive mechanism of rotation of a double drill column, a screw drive of the supply and a kernel bunker with a cyclone cleaning system. The KB-76 drilling complex is capable of drilling horizontal and inclined wells with a diameter of up to 76 mm and a depth of up to 200 m.

Technological and economic advantages

The new drilling technology used in the complex makes it possible to drill high-precision wells with equal success, both in rocks and complicated conditions during drilling in loose and unstable soils, as well as through intermittent rocks. Drilling is carried out in a rotary way by an annular tool by a double separate-drive column of drilling pipes with a continuous removal of the core and sludge by a reverse flow of the cleaning agent. The drilling tool is rigidly connected to the inner column of pipes installed relatively externally on the bearing supports. An external, slow-rotating column of pipes serves to center the internal drilling rig relative to the axis of rotation and its protection from impact on the walls of the wells, as well as the formation of a channel for the cleaning agent.
